Something is stirring. My rental management company is being run off its feet with enquiries for rentals. it is not uncommon to have 10-15 tenants waiting to jump into the first available one.
Rents are still relatively flat compared to house prices, but it seems inevitable to me that big increases in rents are only a matter of short time before they arrive with a vengeance.
If you think the howls of protest about house prices is bad, just wait what happens when rents take off.
Owing residential property seems to be the way to go providing its clean, fairly priced and in a reasonable area.
