Commercial Property Gets High returns

Kiwi commercial landlords are doing better than many of their overseas counterparts including Australians.
Financial returns on New Zealand commercial property averaged 10.4 per cent in the year to the end of March, according to new research done by global property analyst IPD for the Property Council.
More than three-quarters of the landlords’ income came from rents, with just under a quarter coming from capital gains. The figure was a slight drop-off from three months ago, when returns averaged 11 per cent.
